NEW DELHI: US President Joe Biden's much-awaited visit to India is scheduled for September 7, where he will attend the prestigious G-20 Summit. According to sources, President Biden will conclude his visit and return to Washington DC on September 10. The G-20 Summit holds particular significance as it is being held under India's esteemed presidency.

Scheduled for next month, in September, the G-20 Summit will take place in India, bringing together the world's 20 major developed and developing economies for vital discussions on international economic cooperation. This forum serves as a critical platform to address global challenges, such as climate change, pandemics, fragility, conflict, and the attainment of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

What makes India's G20 Presidency unique is its massive in-person participation, with over 12,300 delegates from more than 110 nations, making it the largest gathering ever hosted by any G20 country.

During Prime Minister Modi's visit to the United States in June, President Biden expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming G-20 Summit in India.
