Jaunpur: A horrific road accident occurred in Jaunpur, UP on Sunday evening. Here on Prayaraj Gorakhpur Highway, a speeding roadways bus hit the casting machine moving ahead. In this accident, all the 6 workers on the casting machine died on the spot. Half a dozen people including a woman traveling in the bus were seriously injured. On receiving the news, police reached the spot and admitted all the injured persons to Fish City CHC. The police have taken the bodies of the dead people in their custody and sent them for post-mortem. On receiving the news of the accident, Jaunpur SP Ajaypal Sharma himself reached the spot and investigated the cause of the accident. 

According to the news received, 6 laborers along with the casting machine had gone to a nearby village for casting. While returning from there, his car was moving slowly on the highway. Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh Roadways bus going from Prayagraj to Gorakhpur came at high speed and hit the trolley of the casting machine. This collision was so dangerous that the entire casting machine jumped and overturned at a distance of about 20 meters. Five persons riding on this machine died on the spot. Whereas the sixth laborer died on the way to the hospital. In this accident, half a dozen people including a woman traveling in the bus were seriously injured.
