Patna: Mewalal, who became the Education Minister of Bihar, has resigned from his post today. He was accused of corruption recently and now it seems that he has resigned after being troubled by these allegations. He was the new Education Minister of Nitish Kumar and he took over the education department today. No one has understood his sudden resignation. It seems that he has resigned after being fed up with all the allegations.

RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) has been tweeting for the past 2 days on corruption charges against Mewalal Chaudhary. Not only this, the RJD is also seeking an inquiry into Mewalal's alleged involvement in the suspected death of his wife. Meanwhile, he has resigned.

In the year 2017, Mewalal Chaudhary has been accused of betting heavily on the job while being Vice-Chancellor of Sabaur Agricultural University in Bhagalpur. He is also accused that he wrongly reinstated 161 Assistant Professor while being Vice-Chancellor. When the allegations against him were investigated, all the allegations were found to be true. While talking about this, Mewalal Chaudhary had said, 'No charge sheet has been filed against me nor has the charge been proved against me by the court. There are no allegations against me.'
