Patna: Public Rights Party President and former MP Pappu Yadav is trying his luck in the Bihar Assembly Elections. He said that "The Congress is a big party and if it leads in the Grand Alliance, he agrees to give unconditional support, but the Congress will have to give leadership to Dalits". Pappu Yadav has claimed that within three years after coming to power, he will work to make Bihar number one not in the country but across Asia, otherwise, he will resign from his post.

Former MP Pappu Yadav said that "CM Nitish Kumar is plotting to end Dalit politics, which we will not allow in any case". He said "I'll try to convince Hindustan Awam Morcha (US) president and former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi to not get deceived and influenced by Nitish Kumar and for not joining JDU. Manjhi has devised a strategy to stab the politics of the Dalit community".

Public Rights Party chief Pappu Yadav said "Congress should come forward to protect the country from slavery. If the Congress leads the Grand Alliance, we are ready to give unconditional support, but the leadership's reins should be given to a leader of a backward or Dalit community. It should not be just an assurance".
