Patna: Liquor ban is in full force, but still liquor smugglers are selling liquor illegally. Liquor smugglers are constantly adopting new methods to hide liquor sourced from Nepal. In this episode, police seized a large consignment of liquor from a pond in Madhubani district.

In Madhubani district, which is famous for fisheries, alcohol is now being replaced with fish from the pond. These liquor bottles were filled in jute sacks and hidden in the pond. During the raids, the police seized about 2500 bottles of liquor in 31 sacks in the house of liquor mafia in Ganeshi toll village of Khutona block. The police had received information that a person named Lalit Mahato kept a large amount of alcohol hidden in his house. After this, when the police raided Lalit Mahato's house in that village, a large amount of illegal liquor was recovered from there.

However, before the police arrived, liquor businessman Lalit Mahato managed to escape, but one of his henchmen was caught by the police. On the henchmen, the police once again started the search of liquor, where about 2000 liquor bottles kept in 30 sacks have been confiscated. Liquor was kept hidden in a pond. At present, about 4500 bottles of country liquor kept in 61 bags have been seized.
