Meanwhile, news has come from Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh that there has been a deadly attack on the BJP candidate. It is being told that the police have arrested two people in connection with the attack on the BJP candidate's convoy. The case is of Khirni Tiraha of Kailadevi. According to the report, allegedly the supporters of Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Pinky Yadav of Asmoli attacked the convoy of BJP candidate Harendra Singh near Khirni police post.
In the incident, a BJP supporter was injured and two constables, including a security guard of the FST magistrate, were injured. It is alleged that when the magistrate ordered to make a video of the attack by the SP workers, the SP supporters tried to stop the recording by hitting a stick on the camera. Police said that Samajwadi workers attacked the BJP candidate when the Flying Squad team of the Election Commission was searching his vehicle. The attackers also attacked them when the police team intervened. After getting the information, additional police teams reached the spot, but by then the attackers had fled.
Police have registered a case against 5 people in this regard, including the names of SP MLA's husband Pramod Kumar and his SP supporters including brother. The police have registered this case under serious sections like Section 307, 332 and 7 Criminal Law Avertment Act etc. Arrests have also been made in 2 accused case. The complainant Rahul Kumar told the police that he was coming back from the birthday party with Harendra Kumar. Meanwhile, his car was stopped by the Flying Squad team. On the other hand, SP workers led by Pramod Yadav attacked. According to the complainant, the SP workers had sticks, sticks, iron rods and country-made pistols. They opened fire and also broke the vehicle. To save ourselves, we went to the police post. But, the attackers also came there and attacked the police team and broke the camera of the flying squad.
