Mumbai: Shiv Sena has targeted the BJP on Wednesday. He said, 'It should not be under any illusion that it can demolish the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra by using the Enforcement Directorate (ED).' In an editorial in the party mouthpiece "Saamana", the Shiv Sena has recently alleged that the government agencies like ED and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) are rapidly declining.

The ED had recently called Varsha Raut, wife of Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, for questioning in the Rs 4,300-crore PMC bank money laundering case, however, she has not yet appeared before the ED. Recently, Shiv Sena said on a statement by BJP state unit chief Chandrakant Patil, "Patil has asked if Sanjay Raut does not believe in the constitution, but we want to ask how long Patil is good about the constitution."

The party also said, "Ask the Governor questions about the constitution. Due to the Governor's quota, the 12 seats of the Legislative Council were vacated in June and the seats are not being filled despite the recommendations of the Cabinet." However, it has been said, "In the year 2020, all attempts to topple the Uddhav Thackeray government have failed. The governments which the Governor wished would not be formed even in the next 25 years."
