Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray held a rally on Sunday (August 27, 2023) in Maharashtra's Hingoli, where he addressed his party workers. During his speech, Uddhav Thackeray made several controversial comments. Uddhav Thackeray said that the Pulwama terror attack was done by the BJP. While making this statement, he cited former Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Satyapal Malik and Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra.
Uddhav said, 'Mahua Moitra is an MP from Bengal. Satyapal Malik is the former Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. He (Satyapal) has been a close aide to Modi earlier also. So this is not my opinion. Both of them have said this. He has openly said that these people (the BJP) hatched the Pulwama conspiracy to win the elections in 2019. That's why they can even stoop so low to gain power. Uddhav Thackeray said, 'Another possibility is being talked about, and all Hindus in the country should pay attention to it. It has now been revealed that the attack by Pakistan was a lie. They can also promise a house on the moon. What else can be done, then? This is more dangerous. The Ram temple is being built, in which he has no role. I say no role, because he didn't demolish Babri Masjid; he didn't order to build Ram Mandir; it was given by the court; and the money was given from the people and the state treasury. But they will keep the program of the inauguration of the Ram temple on January 1, 2024.
Uddhav said, 'At the time of the inauguration of the Ram temple, as Satyapal Malik and Mahua Moitra had said, they would call thousands and lakhs of Hindus from all over the country to Ayodhya. They will bring them to Ayodhya by bus and train. And when these trains and buses go back to their respective places after the program, they will plot attacks on these buses and trains while passing through Muslim settlements, so as to incite riots across the country. This is not my opinion. This is the opinion of these two leaders. I am just telling this to you. That is, in a way, Uddhav is already giving a 'clean chit' to the terrorists, saying that even if they attack during the inauguration of the Ram temple, they will be safe because, with leaders like Uddhav, Mahua Moitra, and Satyapal Malik, The BJP has already been blamed for the alleged 'attack. All they (Uddhav and others) have to say after the attack is, "We had already said it. This would be similar to Congress releasing a book calling the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack a "RSS conspiracy", even though one of the 10 terrorists, Ajmal Kasab, was caught alive. And he confessed that he had come to India to do jihad for the Hurons and was sent by Pakistan. Otherwise, to hide the 'dirty intention' of Pakistan,a complete propaganda had been spread in India regarding 'Hindu terrorism'. Because if Mahua Moitra, Satyapal Malik, and Uddhav Thackeray have any evidence regarding the Pulwama attack, then they should go to court and fight the case against the government. By making such allegations, these leaders are in a way giving a clean chit to the terrorists, or rather, indirectly inciting them to attack. However, Uddhav further said, 'PM Modi can promise you that he will give you a house on the moon in the campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. This is how they (the BJP) politicize the success of Chandrayaan. You also know that it is not possible to build a house there, but at least think for a moment. You would think, What would happen if you found this house on the moon? Actually, you will not get anything on the moon, but now you have to mortgage your house. This is the first possibility. And there is one more thing that is very important.'
Pulwama attack:
On February 14, 2019, there was a suicide bomb attack on a convoy of vehicles carrying Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel to Srinagar via National Highway 44. Adil Ahmad Dar, a 22-year-old Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist from Kakapora in Jammu and Kashmir, rammed his explosive-laden vehicle into a bus carrying CRPF jawans. 40 of our soldiers were sacrificed. When India was still mourning the attack, a video of Adil went viral on social media. Recorded before the suicide bombings, it sent a clear message that the Pulwama attack was not confined to the Indian state alone but was also a jihadi act against the Hindu majority. In the video,

It's been 4 years since the Pulwama attack, and Adil Ahmed Dar's video has resulted in more than one objective being served. Apart from creating terror among Hindus, it gave a new weapon to India's liberals to humiliate and dehumanize the Indian community. Uddhav Thackeray has long been one of these liberals. In October 2020, former Hindutva icon Uddhav Thackeray touched a new low after attacking the BJP with indecent, anti-Hindu references to gomutra (cow urine) and gobar (cow dung). Uddhav had made the derogatory remarks while addressing the annual Shiv Sena Dussehra fair.
Uddhav Thackeray, who has been doing Hindutva politics since Balasaheb Thackeray's time, changed his tone as soon as he joined hands with Congress. He was also seen making fun of cow urine and cow dung like Adil Ahmed Dar. He had said, 'Those who accuse our government, their mouths are full of cow dung and cow urine. They are trying to throw cow dung on us in the hope that it will stick, but it did not because we are clean. These are the people whose mouths and clothes smell like cow urine and cow dung. Today, when Uddhav is again saying that the Pulwama terror attack was planned by the BJP, it becomes necessary to present the video of terrorist Adil Ahmed Dar in front of the country so that the country can understand what the intention behind that attack was and why Was this attack done to show hatred towards idol worshipers and those who drink cow urine?
