Mumbai: Expressing concern over the growing cases of Corona in Maharashtra, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Gopal Shetty has advised the state CM Uddhav Thackeray to seek help from Union Home Minister Amit Shah in this regard. Shetty while talking to the press said, "It is unfortunate that Maharashtra is facing the spread of Corona epidemic. It is a city like Delhi, in which Home Minister Amit Shah's major contribution in controlling Corona."

BJP MP Shetty further said, "Uddhav Thackeray should seek immediate help from the central government. To protect the lives of the people, put all political differences aside and seek Amit Shah's help. He can do whatever is in the public interest. It is not a political issue." The second wave of Corona in Maharashtra has again increased the problems of the government. The situation has become such that a week of lockdown has been imposed in the city of Amravati. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray also warned people that if they do not follow the epidemic protocol, lockdown will be imposed in the state once again.

Gopal Shetty has advised the state government to take some concrete steps in such a serious situation instead of politics. He has also stressed on intensifying the corona vaccination program. The BJP leader said that the scope of the vaccine should also be increased, especially in states where the number of corona cases is increasing.
