Lucknow: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi tested positive for corona. She is admitted to the PGI Hospital in Lucknow for treatment. Due to sore throat and discomfort, Rita Bahuguna Joshi conducted her test and reported tested positive. Meanwhile, the highest number of cases of Corona has been registered in a single day so far in the country.

Health officials said on Thursday that the total number of people who died of corona infection with 1,043 new deaths in the country has risen to 67,376. 8,15,538 of the infected cases are currently active cases. So far, 2,970,492 patients of Corona have gone home after recovering. According to the Health Department, 68,584 patients have recovered from this disease in the last 24 hours, after which the recovery rate in the country has reached 77.09 percent. There has been a steady increase in the rate of recovery for the last several months. More than 60,000 patients are recovering from this disease in at least one day.

According to the Ministry of Health, there are 12 states including Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Delhi, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal where the recovery rate is higher than the national average. Maharashtra remains the most affected province, with 8,08,306 cases of corona and 24,903 deaths. It is followed by Andhra Pradesh, where 4,45,139 cases and 4,053 deaths have been reported.
