Punjab Cricket Association has urged former all-rounder of India, UVa, to withdraw his decision to retire and become a player and mentor of the state team, although UVa has not yet responded to this. Yuvi said goodbye to cricket last year.

Actually, PCA Secretary Puneet Bali said on Friday that he has requested Yuvraj, who is already guiding some young cricketers, including Shubman Gill. Bali said, 'We requested Yuvraj 5 six days ago and his reply is awaited. If he agrees, then it is going to be very good for Punjab cricket.

Significantly, when talking about Yuvi's cricketing career, he represented Team India in 40 Tests, 304 ODIs and 58 T20 International matches from the Indian side. In this, he scored 1900, 8701 and 1177 respectively. Yuvraj took 9 wickets in Tests, 111 in ODIs and 28 wickets in T20s. He has also been a part of the Indian team that won the T20 World Cup in 2007 and the ODI World Cup in 2011 and also played an important role.
