New Delhi: Delhi fire: A massive fire broke out in the slums of the Punjabi Bagh area on Thursday night. 

The incident reportedly took place in Transport Nagar, and fire tenders were sent right away. No casualty was reported in the incident, according to the local police.

On Thursday, a large fire broke out in the Punjabi Bagh area of Delhi, fire officials said.

The incident happened at around 1.30 am in the Transport Nagar slum in the Punjabi Bagh locality,  the police said.
Eleven fire tenders were immediately deployed into action and the fire was controlled at around 5:00 am, fire officials said.

Delhi Fire Service Sub-Divisional Officer Batti Lal Meena informed, Information about fire in around 100 slums of Transport Nagar was received at about 1.30 am after which 11 fire tenders immediately reached the spot. The fire was later doused off."

There were no casualties in the incident, the SDO said.
