The experiment has been a part of the Gentleman game since the beginning. Whether it is about Test cricket or T20 tournament. Recently it was being said that T20 should be divided into 4 innings. But this idea was not liked by Team India's former opener Gautam Gambhir and former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee and both rejected this idea. Talking on the Star Sports show Cricket Connected, both the cricketers said that this idea did not do well because what is already going on will be better.

Gambhir said that Sachin's idea of distributing 50 overs of cricket is better but T20 should not be distributed. Brett Lee also said that I am in favour of T20 cricket whether it is IPL or Big Bash League. The number of people in these two leagues is very high. But many things happen where you do not have to tamper with it. I think 4 innings will be too much.

Gambhir said that, I do not believe at all that we should divide T20 into 4 innings, but yes we can divide Sachin's idea i.e. 50 overs into 4 innings of 25. Because here you will get more overs but in 10 overs you will not be able to do anything amazing.
