BSP alleges, government harassing innocents in the name of CAA

Lucknow: Recently, the BSP has put the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh in the dock. The BSP alleges that the Uttar Pradesh government is busy harassing people in the name of the Citizenship Amendment Act. At the same time, a delegation led by Bapsa National General Secretary Satish Chandra Mishra met Governor Anandiben Patel and submitted a memorandum to him.

According to information received from sources, it has been ascertained that Bahujan Samaj Party has alleged that people in Uttar Pradesh are being harassed in the name of the Citizenship Amendment Act. Police is now harassing innocent people after a fierce protest against it. The BSP delegation has met Governor Anandiben Patel for such action. In a meeting that lasted for about half an hour, the delegation submitted a memorandum on the action being taken on the CAA demonstration.

After meeting the Governor, BSP General Secretary Satish Chandra Mishra told the media that innocent people are being harassed in the name of CAA. He said that he has met the Governor for the release of innocent people. Those who have committed violence should be punished but no innocent should be disturbed. At the same time, Satish Chandra Mishra said that along with taking the memorandum, the Governor has also assured that 25 to 50 lakh compensation should be given to those killed during the protest.
