Bus full of passengers fell from 50 feet high bridge, 15 died tragically

Khargone: The news of a major accident is coming out from Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh. Here a passenger bus fell 50 feet from the bridge over Borad river. 15 people died in the accident. More than 25 people have been injured. The death toll could rise to 20. The driver, conductor and cleaner are also reported to have died in the accident. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed grief over the bus accident in Khargone and expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased.   

Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that it is a very sad incident. A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the incident. Officers have immediately reached the spot. 15 people have been reported killed in the incident. Around 25 people are injured. The injured persons were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. The dead bodies have been sent for postmortem. Bus number MP10-P-7755 is being told of Maa Sharda Travels, which was going to Indore from Khargone district. The accident took place on the Khargone-Thikri road. The bus was passing through a bridge over a river when it suddenly fell down. There was a loud sound and there was chaos. There were more than 40 passengers in the bus. The accident happened near Dasanga village. The people of the village informed the police. Police personnel along with the villagers are engaged in helping the injured persons. 

After receiving the news of the same incident, MLA Ravi Joshi has also left for the spot. In discussion with MLA Ravi Joshi, who reached the spot, the villagers said that everyday the buses are overloaded and pass at high speed. Many times we interrupted the bus drivers, but they used to do bullying. The state government has announced financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the families of those killed in the Khargone bus accident, Rs 50,000 to the seriously injured and Rs 25,000 to the minor injured. Along with this, arrangements will be made by the State Government for proper treatment of the persons injured in the accident.
