The water level has increased in the Chenab River at Doda district. After heavy rainfall in several regions of Jammu and Kashmir rivers have crossed the warning mark. Deputy Commissioner, Ramban has advised people not to venture anywhere near riverbanks of all water-bodies. 

The weather department also issues an alert for the upcoming days that may receive heavy rainfall. Deputy Commissioner, Ramban tweeted about the present condition "River Chenab is flowing far higher than its normal water level. People are again advised not to venture anywhere near riverbanks of all water-bodies in District Ramban. Remain Vigilant and Alert." Earlier in the day, a cloudburst was reported in the Gulabgarh area of the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. In several parts of Jammu and Kashmir, shops have been washed away, while people are going missing and some lost their lives in flood crisis.

Till now, four bodies have been recovered and around 30-40 people remain missing after cloudburst in the Gulabgarh area of Kishtwar district on Wednesday morning. Eight-nine houses in Honzar village of the district have been damaged.
