Raipur: In Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, security forces drove a dreaded Naxalite in a jungle for 12 kilometers to the hospital. District Reserve Guard (DRG) personnel were on a search operation near Sukma border in Naxal-affected Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh. In the hills of Nagalguda here, the soldiers were informed about the hiding of Naxalites.

During the search, the jawans found a Naxalite lying in an injured state in the forest. His companions fled, leaving the injured Naxalites. The DRG personnel put the injured on the cot and took him to the hospital on foot about 12 km away. It is being told that the Naxalite was found involved in the armed violence for the past 11 years in an injured state. He was a member of the Malangiri Area Committee and a reward of 5 lakh was also declared on him.

The special thing is that the Naxalite fell into the pit dug for the soldiers. He himself fell into it a few days ago while making a spike hole. In this hole, after filling iron, glass, etc. in the pit, the pit is covered with dried leaves and grass from above. Many times IEDs are also installed in it. The Naxalite himself fell into this pit and was injured, which is currently being treated in court.
