Raipur: Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel arrives in the assembly with a briefcase made of cow dung to promote the sector of environmental protection and economic empowerment. This briefcase has been specially prepared with cow dung powder for the budget session of the Vidhan Sabha.

In the same briefcase, women of a women's self-help group working in Gokul Dham Gothan of Raipur Municipal Corporation have prepared this briefcase using cow dung and other products and in this briefcase Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel presented the budget in the assembly today. This is the first budget in the history of India which was kept in a dung briefcase and the Chief Minister reached the assembly with the same briefcase.

The specialty of this briefcase is that it has been prepared from a mixture of cow dung powder, lime powder, maida wood and guar gum. It took 10 days of hard work of artisans to make this one briefcase. The handle of this briefcase specially designed for the budget of Chhattisgarh has been made by art artisans. In Chhattisgarh, cow dung is considered a symbol of Goddess Lakshmi. In Chhattisgarh, there has been a practice of smearing houses with cow dung on festivals. Taking inspiration from this, this special briefcase has been prepared, so that from this briefcase in the hands of CM, Lakshmi enters every house of Chhattisgarh and every citizen of Chhattisgarh can be financially empowered.
