Dehradun: Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Champawat would be brought on the map of India by preparing a comprehensive action plan for the development of Champawat. In a discussion with the media in Gorakhnath Darbar, the CM said that Didihat (Pithoragarh) is my birthplace. Khatima (Udham Singh Nagar) is the place of work and now Champawat, a bridge between these two, will become their place of work and religion. The government will also connect all the backward areas including Champawat with the main stream of development. CM said that along with promoting private sector investment, steps will be taken to improve the financial condition of the state. CM Dhami said that Uttarakhand will become the first state to implement Uniform Civil Code. A committee is being formed for this. If there is any kind of legal or other problem in this, then we will take guidance from the Government of India.
Along with this, the Chief Minister said that effective steps are being taken to deal with the power crisis. Officials of the government and energy corporation have been asked to buy electricity according to the demand. CM Dhami also claimed to take drastic measures to reduce the forest fires. He said that investigation is going on in the case of Rs 400 crore scam of NH 74 land compensation. Government will take strict steps against corruption.
Simultaneously, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami paid obeisance in the Gorakhnath court and circumambulated the temple. Along with the Chief Minister in the court, there was also MLA Kailash Gahatodi, who left his seat for CM. Mahant Sonunath blessed Chief Minister Dhami for victory in the by-election. CM also made 10 announcements including starting the operation of Manch sub-tehsil, opening of ARTO office in Champawat. In the Chaupal held in the temple premises, CM Dhami announced to work at every level for the development of the area. Former MLA Kailash Gahatodi said that with Chief Minister Dhami being the representative from this area, development will happen at the speed of bullet train. Provincial Organization Minister Ajay, former minister Swami Yatheeswaranand also expressed their views in the Choupal, presided over by District President Deepak Pathak and conducted by Harish Bhatt.
CM made these 10 announcements:-
1- One ARTO office will be opened in Tanakpur-Champawat.
2- Permission to primary health center at Amodi.
3- Forum sub-tehsil will be operated.
4- Mini stadium at Banbasa.
5- Action will be taken for the status of Triple E to the Government Engineering College of Tanakpur.
6- Rope route from tea garden to Hingladevi temple.
7- The tourism department will prepare a special action plan to bring Champawat on the tourism map at all India level.
8- Giving the status of state road to Sukhidhang-Shyamlal motor road, Thuligad-Bhairav ​​Mandir motor, Sukhidhang-Danda-Midar-Reetha Sahib road.
9- A special Goljuy corridor will be made by combining Champawat Golu Devta, Ghorakhal Golu Devta and Chitai Golu Devta.
10- Maa Poornagiri temple area and Devidhura temple area will be developed on priority basis.
