Bhopal: CM of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan paid tribute to the martyr Manish Carpenter of Rajgarh on Wednesday. After paying tribute, CM Shivraj announced one crore rupees to the martyr's family and also announced a job to a member of the family. The body of the martyr has reached his hometown of Khujner. Where thousands of people have gathered for the last farewell to Manish.

CM Shivraj said that the statue of Martyr Manish Carpenter will be installed. It is worth mentioning that, Manish Carpenter, a resident of Khujner in Rajgarh district, martyred in the terrorist attack in Baramulla, Kashmir. Today, he will be cremated with full military honours at Khujner in Rajgarh district, his home place. Manish was posted in the Sudarshan Chakra Corps and was performing duty at Baramulla.

According to the information, the encounter took place in Salosa, located in the Kriiri area of Baramulla, where some terrorists were reported to be hiding. After that, a joint team of security forces cordoned the area and launched a search operation. The terrorists in hiding started firing on the security forces. The army also retaliated after this. Manish Carpenter got injured in the encounter. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment, where he died during treatment.
