Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adithyanath on March 11 approved the proposal for the development of world-class infrastructure projects worth Rs 465 crore in Ayodhya.

In anticipation of a significant increase in the number of tourists visiting Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh cabinet approved the proposal.

The official announcement reads, "The "dharmapath," which runs for two kilometres from NH 27 to the historic "Naya Ghat" bridge, will now be extended and lengthened. The price is 65 crore rupees. The 9.02-kilometer Panchkosi Parikrama Marg has also received an allocation of Rs 200 crores."  In addition, it said, a provision of Rs 200 crores has been made to widen "14 Kosi Parikrama Marg" in Ayodhya to four lanes for 23.943 kilometres.

Asharfi Bhavan, Devkali Chhoti, Nageshwar Dham, Swayamveshwar Nath, Dantdhavan Kund, Janaki Kund, Mouni Baba Ashram, Sita Kund, and Dashrath Kund in the "Panchkosi Parikrama Marg" will also receive flooring, lavatory construction, boundary, gate, signage, pillars, horticulture, and electrification, the statement added.

The proposal for this has been approved by the cabinet. It has also been agreed to widen the Rae Bareli Dalmau Fatehpur road by 700 metres in order to accommodate the development of the AIIMS at Rae Bareli. It states that the purpose of this is to enhance connectivity for AIIMS.
