Amritsar: After the ongoing infighting in the Punjab Congress, it is believed that CM Captain Amarinder Singh's chair may now be in danger. Following a letter from 40 MLAs angry with CM Captain Amarinder, the Congress high command has taken a major decision and convened a meeting of the legislature party at Punjab Congress Bhawan in Chandigarh at 5 pm today, which may also lead to the ordeal of Captain Amarinder.

Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Rawat tweeted that Ajay Maken and Harish Chaudhary will also be present as central observers in the meeting and will prepare a complete report and send it to the high command. Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Rawat has taken to social media to inform about the legislature party meeting on Friday midnight after meeting Congress working president Sonia Gandhi. It is being reported that the views of the rebel MLAs will be known in the Congress Legislature Party meeting and given the stand of the rebels, it is clear that it is preparing to move a no-confidence motion against the Captain. Harish Rawat was also being questioned by the rebel group and two observers are being sent for today's meeting so that no one gets a chance to raise questions later

CM Captain Amarinder Singh has also called his close MLAs for a meeting at Siswan Farm House as soon as he came to know about the convening of the Congress Legislature Party meeting. In view of this, it is believed that the Captain is engaged in creating a strategy as to how the rebel group will be dealt with if it brings a no-confidence motion.
