New Delhi: Congress Rajya Sabha member Hussain Dalwai has questioned the low representation of Muslims in the new maharashtra Congress committees. Hussain Dalwai has written to Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of ignoring the Muslims and demanding correcting the situation. Hussain Dalwai says that the Congress has set up 8 committees in Maharashtra, covering a total of 210 people, but only 14 of them are Muslims.

He further said that Muslims in Maharashtra have always stood in favour of the Congress, but the Congress is ignoring them. Alleging that all these things can also have an impact on ticket sharing for the Maharashtra assembly elections, which is not correct. Hussain Dalwai even said that the 14 Muslims who have been accommodated in these committees should not have a single Shia community, while everyone should have the opportunity to represent.

Dalwai has said that he now expects former Congress President Rahul Gandhi as he is his leader. In fact, the Maharashtra Congress has set up 8 committees at the state level, including several committees, including the Co-ordination Committee, including Hussain Dalwai, but not his name in the strategy committee.
