New Delhi: During the last 24 hours in India, 3641 new patients infected with the Corona virus have been confirmed. After which, the number of patients undergoing treatment for infection has increased to 20,219 This information was received on Monday from the new officials of the Union Health Ministry. According to statistics, after 11 more deaths due to infection within 24 hours, the death toll has increased to 5,30,892. The ministry says that out of these 11 deaths, 3 patients have died in Maharashtra, while one patient has died in each of Delhi, Kerala, Karnataka, and Rajasthan.

Along with this, Kerala has added four more names to the list of the dead after reconciling the figures of patients who lost their lives from COVID-19. Statistics say that the daily rate of infection in India has been recorded at 6.12 percent and the weekly rate at 2.45 percent. The total number of Corona cases has increased to 4.47 crore (4,47,26,246). According to the website of the ministry, the number of patients undergoing treatment for infection is 0.05 percent of the total number of cases. At the same time, the national rate of recovery from COVID-19 has been recorded at 98.76 percent.

The number of patients recovering from COVID-19 has increased to 4,416,753, while the death rate is 1.19 percent. In the nationwide vaccination campaign, 220.66 crore doses of anti-COVID-19 vaccines have been given so far in the country. On Saturday, 3824 new cases of the Corona virus were also registered in the country.

The increase in Corona cases that has been seen in the last few days is the highest in the third wave. Last week, i.e., between March 26 and April 1, 18,450 new cases were reported in India. Which is more than double its first week's 8,781. However, it is a matter of relief that there has been a slight increase in the number of deaths due to Corona.
