Mumbai: The most affected state by the COVID19 is Maharashtra, new cases of the virus have been reported. On Wednesday, 17,433 new cases of Corona have been reported in the state. The total number of corona infected in the state has increased to 8, 25, 739. The special thing is that this figure is more than the figures of patients in Peru, the 5th largest country affected by Corona in the world.

This means that if Maharashtra had been a country, it would have been number 5th country most affected by COVID19. According to the WHO, there are six lakh 52 thousand 37 cases of corona in Peru, while in Maharashtra, there are more than eight lakh cases of the corona. Russia is next on the list, where Corona has one million five thousand cases. Cases of corona infection in the state are increasing uncontrollably.

On Wednesday, more than 17 thousand new cases have come up in the state. Earlier, on August 29, maximum 16 thousand 867 cases were reported in the state in one day. It was also told that 22 per cent of the total corona cases of the country are in Maharashtra. Ever since the coronavirus started spreading in India, Maharashtra has remained in the first place. On Wednesday, 292 people lost their lives from Corona in Maharashtra, 34 of whom were residents of Mumbai. With this, the death toll in the state has gone up to 25 thousand 195.
