Bengaluru: In Karnataka, more than five thousand cases have been reported in a single day on Thursday. 97 infected people lost their lives. After this, the figure of confirmed cases in the state has gone up to 80,863. The Health Department has told that 2,071 patients a day have been discharged from the hospital after combating corona.

Out of 5,030 cases exposed, 2207 cases are in Bangalore urban areas. A bulletin of the Health Department has said that as of July 23, there are 80,863 cases out of which 1,616 have died and 29,310 people have been discharged from hospital after recovery. It has been told in the bulletin that the number of patients undergoing treatment for corona infection in the state has gone up to 49,931, while 49,291 patients are in isolation in the hospital and their condition is stable. 640 corona patients are in ICU.

The pace of corona infection is increasing rapidly in the country, although the number of patients recovering is also increasing during this period. In the last twenty-four hours, more than 49 thousand new cases of corona infection have been reported. The number of people affected by corona infection in India has increased to 12.87 lakhs. 34,601 have recovered in one day. At present, more than 1.5 crore corona investigations have been done so far.
