The government is making every effort to stop the epidemic in India. At the same time, to overcome the shortage of ventilators in the country, the government companies associated with the Ministry of Defense have given their full strength. Bharat Electronics Limited has started manufacturing a large number of DRDO designed ventilators in the country. With the start of this big initiative to make ventilator, BEL will make 30,000 ventilators in the next two months and hand it over to the Health Ministry.

For your information, let us tell you that in anticipation of increase in the number of patients affected by the corona epidemic, while preparing beforehand, the Health Ministry has asked the Ministry of Defense, PSU companies to manufacture various medical and rescue equipment including ventilators. In the ICU, the Health Ministry is arranging a large number of ventilators for the survival of corona affected patients.

In this matter, the Ministry of Health has given this responsibility to BEL, which has started manufacturing ventilators developed by DRDO in its units. In this DRDO-designed ventilator, some improvements were made by Messrs. Scannery of Mysore which has an alliance with BEL .
