Lucknow: Corona pandemic has greatly affected every region of the country. In UP like other states, the cases of coronavirus are continuously increasing. On an average 5000 new COVID-19 patients are coming out every day. On Wednesday, 5898 new COVID-19 infected patients were found in the state, after which the number of patients of COVID-19 infected in Uttar Pradesh has now crossed two lakh. During this period 82 COVID-19 patients also died in the state.

This information was given by Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi and Additional Chief Secretary Medical Amit Mohan Prasad. They said that the maximum number of tests in the state has been done on Wednesday. At present, there are 51,317 active cases in the state, out of which 25,279 are in home isolation. So far 83,575 patients have taken advantage of home isolation. There are 2341 private hospitals and hotels and guest houses with 250 L-1 Plus facilities.

On Wednesday, the 759 cases of COVID19 were found in Lucknow, while the maximum number of deaths occurred in Gorakhpur. Of the 82 deaths on Wednesday, the highest number of deaths were 9 in Gorakhpur, 8 in Lucknow, 6 in Saharanpur, five COVID-19 patients in Maharajganj. Apart from this, 4 in Kanpur, Varanasi and Moradabad each, 3 in Prayagraj, Bareilly, Barabanki, Shahjahanpur, Basti and Rae Bareli each, 2 in Jhansi, Meerut, Pilibhit, Etawah and Sonbhadra each. While 1 patient died in Noida, Ayodhya, Rampur, Gonda, Hardoi, Bulandshahr, Mathura, Sultanpur, Santakbirnagar, Hapur, Badaun, Mainpuri, Jalaun and Shravasti each. With this, the cases of corona are increasing continuously in the state.
