New Delhi: In order to overcome the rising cases of corona infection in the country, lockdown will continue every week in many states. More than a dozen states have opted for partial lockdown, keeping in mind economic activities and controlling infections. But from July 16 in Bihar and July 23 in Manipur statewide lockdown continues. The Tripura government has also announced a statewide lockdown from Monday.

In Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal, a 10-day lockdown has been issued due to continuous increase in infection cases. Apart from this, full lockdown is implemented on every Sunday in the entire state. State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan is infected with the coronavirus. He has been admitted to a hospital. In Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, a full lockdown has been issued till Monday morning. Apart from this, full lockdown is being implemented in the state every Saturday. The total number of patients has crossed 2 lakh 06 thousand after the maximum 6,988 new issues of corona infection were revealed in one day in Tamil Nadu.

State officials informed that once again the lockdown was issued in Uttar Pradesh in the week. Similar restrictions have been imposed in 4 districts of Uttarakhand, Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital and Udhamsingh Nagar for the second time this month. Since July 18, 1348 cases of infection are coming out in these districts. In West Bengal, all shops and transport will be closed under lockdown imposed twice a week. A 60-hour lockdown has been issued in Jammu from 6 pm on Friday evening. Except for Bandipura in Kashmir, the full lockdown will continue for 6 days from Thursday.
