New Delhi: More than 1.25 lakh covid cases are on the rise every day in the country. Vaccination against the corona epidemic is also progressing at a rapid pace. The vaccine dose in one day in April has reached 36 lakh. Meanwhile, it has been reported that India has only 5 vaccine stocks. There are 5 days left. That is, vaccines can be supplied to the States only for about a week.

According to the report, India has a total stock of about 19 vaccines. 6 million, that is, 19.6 million doses, are left. If 36 lakh doses are given every day, these stocks will be the next 5. It can last only for 5 days. However, the good thing is that a new consignment of the vaccine is going to be received for the next week. But if the speed of vaccination is even pushed forward by a stop, then there may be a shortage of vaccines in many states. At present, all people above the age of 45 years are being given the covid vaccine in India.

Vaccination centers closed in many states: Many states in the country have seen a shortage of vaccines. The State Governments are constantly demanding vaccines from the Centre. In Varanasi, pm Narendra Modi's constituency, about 60 percent of government vaccination centers have been closed due to a shortage of covid vaccine. Out of 66 Government Immunization Centres in Varanasi, only 25 are getting covid vaccination. District-level vaccine distribution centers at Chowkaghat in Varanasi have also been closed. Health activist Shyamji Prasad said that there has been a sharp decline in the supply of vaccines from Lucknow. Since the demand for vaccines in Varanasi is very high, doses are getting less here.

Meanwhile, 25 hospitals of Mumbai will not vaccinate. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has claimed that people could not be administered vaccine supplements in 25 private hospitals in Mumbai due to a shortage of vaccines on Thursday. The city municipal corporation said in a release that out of 71 centers sanctioned for vaccination, 25 could not be vaccinated as vaccines were not available at these private health centers.
