New Delhi: The total number of cases of the epidemic in the force has increased to 758 on Monday after 16 more soldiers in the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) were found infected with the coronavirus. Officials have given this information. Six soldiers in these paramilitary forces - Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) have recovered from the disease.

On giving information, a senior official said that since the arrival of coronavirus infection in the forces, the number of new cases is less than before. According to the data obtained by 'PTI', after the arrival of 16 new cases of corona, the total number of cases of this epidemic in these forces has increased to 758. The maximum number of six cases have come from BSF and one of its soldier admitted to AIIMS in Jhajjar, Haryana has been cured for treatment of corona.

The BSF is currently undergoing treatment for 279 personnel. In the last 24 hours, three new cases have been reported in CRPF and CISF. Three CRPF infected men have also recovered from this disease. A total of 236 jawans are undergoing treatment in the force. The CISF is currently undergoing treatment for 66 soldiers. A young person was also healthy with this disease.
