In the Indian state of Punjab, there was some relief from the corona in the past, but on Monday it also knocked in districts declared epidemic-free. 32 new positive cases were found in different districts, taking the total number of people infected in the state to 2082. On the other hand, with the recovery of 15 patients, the number of those who beat Corona in the state has increased to 1913.

According to the health department regarding this matter, 1-1 new cases came out in the Mohali and Sangrur districts which have become corona free. 6 positive cases were registered in Amritsar, 1-1 in Tarn Taran and Kapurthala, 16 in Jalandhar, 5 in Pathankot and 1 in Patiala. Among the 15 cured people, 3 are from Jalandhar, 10 from Faridkot, 1-1 patients from Gurdaspur and Nawanshahar.

Samples of 67213 suspected patients have been taken so far in the state, out of which 62686 have been found negative. The investigation report of 2446 samples is yet to come. 128 people are currently being treated in various hospitals of the state. So far, 41 people have died due to coronavirus in the state.
