Agra: The system of home isolation for COVID-19 infected started on July 22 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. In the first 10 days, only about 25 infected people chose home isolation. Now the number of infected people is constantly increasing, along with the number of people taking home isolation system has also increased. In 40 days, 569 patients have selected home isolation.
On average, 15 patients are undergoing treatment at home every day. There are patients with no symptoms and patients with moderate fever-cough. Chief Medical Officer Dr RC Pandey said that "Don't get afraid to get COVID-19 test done, now there is the facility of home isolation". A 27-year-old woman is infected in Dayalbagh. She is kept in a separate room in home isolation. Her parents have been quarantined in a separate room. Her brother is ensured for monitoring. Her relatives told that daily health information is taken from the control room.
The 38-year-old woman in Trans Yamuna Colony is in home isolation after getting infected. The doctor gave her a fever, cough medicine in the past. The control room is updated about her health daily. She took the medicine prescribed by the doctor, which gave relief. The number of patients living in home isolation in the state is constantly increasing, as well as the cases of corona in the state are increasing continuously.
