Confirmation of epidemic covid-19 infection among 652 new people in Chhattisgarh has increased the number of people positive by this virus to 17,485. On Wednesday, 338 patients were given opportunity from the hospital after infection-free, whereas three people including a woman have died due to this virus.

State Health Department officials said on Wednesday that out of 652 new cases of infections, 291 in Raipur district, 77 in Durg, 49 in Bilaspur, 41 in Raigad, 27 in Sukma, 25 in Balodabazar, 24 in Korea, Rajnandgaon and 18-18 of Gariaband, 12 of Narayanpur, nine each of Kondagaon and Bijapur, seven each of Bastar, Dantewada and Kanker, five each of Surajpur and Jashpur, Mahasamund, Janjgir-Champa and four each of Mungeli, Balod, Dhamtari, Surguja and Balrampur are two each and Kabirdham is a new patient from the cities.

Officers said that 4,45,420 samples have been investigated so far in Chhattisgarh. Among them, 17,485 people have been confirmed infected. In the state, 11,185 patients have become infection free after treatment while 6,139 patients are under treatment. 161 people have died due to Corona virus infection in the state. The maximum number of 6,184 people in Raipur district has been infected with Coronavirus, and 87 people have died.
