Raipur: In Chhattisgarh, 2438 more people have been confirmed to have coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The figure of people infected with the infection in the state has risen to 58,643. In the state, 1138 people were discharged from hospitals after corona-free on Friday. In addition, 25 people have died from coronavirus. Officials from the state's health department said on Friday that 2438 cases of infection have been reported today. Of these, 715 cases are from Raipur district.

There are 288 from Rajnandgaon, 231 from Durg, 209 from Bilaspur, 106 from Janjgir-Chandipa and others from districts. Officials further said that 7,56,163 samples have been tested in Chhattisgarh so far. Of these, 58,643 people have been confirmed positive. 27,123 people have been corona-free after treatment, 31002 patients are undergoing treatment in the state. 518 people infected with the infection have died in the state. The highest corona infection has been confirmed in Raipur district of the state in 20465 people. At 239 people have died in corona infection in the district.

India has seen a surge in coronavirus cases for the third day in a state. This is the third day when more than 95,000 new cases have been reported in a day. 97,570 new corona cases were reported on Saturday. With these new cases, the number of corona patients in India has increased to over 46 lakh 59 thousand. But, the relief is that there has also been an increase in the figures of people recovering from the infection. According to statistics, more than 36 lakh 24 thousand people have been cured so far.
