On Thursday, two patients, including a pregnant woman infected with the coronavirus, were discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. So far, 36 people infected with the coronavirus have been discharged after treatment, while two patients are being treated. Officials of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur said that two patients, including a woman patient of Katghora town in Korba district, were discharged on Thursday morning after the second consecutive test report confirmed that she did not have the infection.

Regarding this matter, the officials said that among the patients is a pregnant woman and her brother. He said that the condition of the remaining two patients, including one of the nursing staff of AIIMS Raipur, has remained stable. They are being treated according to ICMR protocol. The second patient has been brought from Surajpur. She has been admitted to a separate ward after coronavirus infection was confirmed in the nursing personnel of AIIMS Raipur. This is the first case of a health worker getting infected with the coronavirus in the state.
