New Delhi: In the previous 24 hours, India has reported 10,197 new COVID-19 cases, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. In the last 24 hours, the country reported 12,134 recoveries, bringing the total to 3,38,73,890.

The recovery rate (RR) is currently at 98.28 percent, the best it has been since March 2020. The number of active cases in India has dropped to 1,28,555, the lowest level in 527 days. Active cases make up less than 1 percent of total cases, with the current figure of 0.37 percent being the lowest since March 2020.

According to the Ministry of Health, the daily positive rate is 0.82 percent. It has been below 2 percent for the past 44 days, while the weekly positivity rate has remained below 2 percent for the past 54 days, at 0.96 percent. So far, 62.70 crore samples have been tested for COVID-19 in India.
