In response to the growing number of Covid cases in India, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Monday that there was no need for concern because the Omicron sub-variant, which is currently widespread in the nation, has not resulted in an increase in hospitalizations.

However, the minister said that there was a need to remain vigilant and take necessary steps to prevent the spread of the virus.
