Sports eyewear brand Oakley on Tuesday announced Cricketer, Rohit Sharma, as its new brand ambassador in India for a period of two years. Oakley eyewear equipped with patented technology specially designed for sports lenses. He has joined the ranks of Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh and Milind Soman, who have previously supported the brand. Playing for India since 2009, Oakley has a presence in over 2,000 retail stores in multi-brand outlets and large optical chains such as the Titan Eye Plus. The brand is gradually expanding its market in India, investing in creating awareness about why performance vision is important for customers.
