Shivpuri: Due to the negligence of Shivpuri Municipality of Madhya Pradesh, more than a dozen cows have died in four days. The garbage from all over the city is transported in vehicles at the trenching ground located in Darsal Badaudi. Due to this, heaps of garbage in the trenching ground have taken small mountainous shapes. The height of the heaps of garbage has become so high that the lines of electricity passing through the trenching ground have started touching the waste.

According to the news received, an 11 KVA line of electricity has passed over the garbage pile spread in the trenching ground. This power line was in contact with the garbage pile for the last 4 days, due to which the current spread in the garbage pile. In these 4 days, more than a dozen cows have died due to electrocution. However, the local people complained to the municipal officials, but no responsible person paid attention to it. According to local people, 20 cows have died in four days due to electrocution in the garbage dump. Apart from this, dozens of pigs have also been trapped due to electrocution.  

According to the news, when the hearing was not held after several complaints from the regional people, the regional people made several videos of the dead cow and made them viral. After this, the urban administration came into action and disposed of the dead cow in the dark of the night. Even though the municipal authorities have covered up their negligence by disposing of dead cows and dead pigs, locals said that electric wires are still touching heaps of garbage. Many children in the area reach the trenching ground to collect waste, but the municipal watchman prevents the children from picking the garbage nor has the garbage pile been removed from under the electric wires.
