Deepika Padukone has given a blockbuster release Padmaavat which broke all the box-office records. Not only this but Deepika Padukone has also received praise for her performance in the movie. Now, she was scheduled to begin filming her next, Vishal Bharadwaj’s next in March. However, her back injury has relapsed and Deepika has been advised to take it easy.
Vishal Bharadwaj has postponed the shoot of the film by a couple of months, owing to Irrfan Khan’s health and Deepika’s back issue. Deepika revealed in a recent media interaction that she will be starting physiotherapy for it.
“Her role in the film is very physically demanding and the doctor has advised her not to do any strenuous work for a couple of months. In the past few weeks, I felt like I was back in the days of Maqbool while prepping with them. Deepika and Irrfan's look tests have come out exceptionally well, nothing like you've seen before, and it took me a moment to recognize them when I saw the test photographs. I want both of them to be strong and fit before we start the film,” Vishal Bharadwaj had posted on his social media account.
