New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has recently made a big announcement. He said in his new statement, "if the corona vaccine is not given free by the central government, the Delhi government would provide free vaccine for the people of the state. We had appealed to the central government that our country is very poor and this epidemic has come for the first time in 100 years," said Kejriwal. There are a lot of people who may not be able to afford it. I appealed to the centre to provide these vaccines free of cost all over the country. Let's see what the central government does. If the central government does not give free, we will provide the vaccine for free to the people of Delhi. "

The vaccination campaign in the country is going to start from 16th of January to prevent corona. Health and frontline workers are going to be vaccinated in the first phase. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had interacted with the state CM. In this conversation, he said, "We have been discussed with the people and decided what priority will be given in vaccination. The first vaccine will be given to those who are engaged in the service of people day and night, such as our health care workers. Thereafter, frontline workers like doctors, cleaning workers, police, etc., are being vaccinated in the first phase. There are about three crore health care workers and frontline workers in the country. It has been decided that the expenditure on vaccination of these three crore people will not be burdened by the state governments, the entire expenditure will be borne by the central government. '

In addition, he said that the CoWIN app has been created for smooth functioning of the vaccine programme and it should be necessary to upload the real time data related to vaccination. In Delhi, it has got 20,000 doses of Bharat Biotech's Vaccine COVAXIN today. The dose has reached Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital in north-east Delhi this afternoon. Selhi has already received 2, 64000 doses of COVISHIELD of Serum Institute last Tuesday.
