As soon as the incident was reported, 23 fire department vehicles rushed to the spot, which brought the fire under control after 3 to 4 hours of hard work.
Fire officials had reported that how severe the fire was can be gauged from the fact that the Delhi Fire Service had termed the fire in the Neb Sarai area as a "serious" category. Earlier, a house in the GB road area of the capital caught fire late in the night. One person died in the accident. Six fire tenders rushed to the spot on receiving information.
