New Delhi: Shantanu Muluk, accused in the toolkit case, has been granted relief from the Patiala House Court. The court has extended Shantanu's anticipatory bail till March 9, which means that Delhi Police cannot arrest him till March 9. Earlier, the Aurangabad Bench of the Bombay High Court granted anticipatory bail to Shantanu Muluk.

During the hearing today in Patiala House Court, the lawyer appearing for accused Shantanu Muluk said that we have not received the reply of Delhi Police, we need 7 more days as additional time. On this, Delhi Police told the court that the investigation is still going on continuously, we are constantly questioning the accused Shantanu and want to file everything to you in detail. Shantanu's lawyer said that whenever he is called for questioning on behalf of the police, he appeared. From 10 in the morning till they want to inquire, they inquire, in such a case, we need 7 days extra time in this matter. After hearing the plea, the court extended Shantanu's anticipatory bail till March 9.

On 16 February, Shantanu Muluk was granted anticipatory bail by the Bombay High Court for 10 days. This period ends on 26 February. Shantanu filed an application for anticipatory bail in Delhi's Patiala House Court. The court sought an answer from the police on this, but the police could not reply to Shantanu's lawyer.
