New Delhi: Voting for the student union elections in Delhi University (DU) is to be held today. Voting has started at 8.30 in the morning. Like every time, the confrontation is between ABVP and NSUI.

Meanwhile, Rajat Choudhary is the nominated candidate from the ABVP for the post of president, while Rocky Tosidid is from the NSUI.Rocky's nomination was canceled but after getting a clean chit from the High Court, he is contesting.

Talking about the candidates for the remaining posts, Parth Rana for ABVP's vice-president, Mahameedha Nagar for the post of secretary and Uma Shankar for the post of Deputy Secretary is in the ground. While for the Vice-president of the NSUI, Kunal Shehrawat, Meenakshi Meena for the post of secretary and Avinash Yadav is contesting for the post of Deputy Secretary.

Since last 2 times, the NSUI is working only by winning 1 seat, but this time it is convincing to win its victory in all the four seats. Right now ABVP is claiming to have all the seats this year.

The result will be declared on September 13, Wednesday.
