Hyderabad: Nati Pramila, 65, of Gatala Kanaparthi village in Sayanpeta zone of Warangal rural district, was admitted to a private hospital in Hanamkonda by her family members with a heart attack. As soon as he reached the hospital yesterday afternoon, the hospital management deposited one lakh rupees and fifty thousand rupees for the treatment of the patient. After that the patient died at eleven o'clock at night.

When the family reached the body in the morning, the hospital staff demanded payment of two lakh and twenty thousand rupees. Kharakhandi, the owner of the hospital, said the body would not be given if the money was not given. Relatives of the deceased said that the hospital management was depositing Rs 3 lakh 20 thousand for the patient who died in one night, after which the relatives of the deceased staged a protest in front of the hospital.
