Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, who was on Punjab tour, has again come into controversy. The demand to register a case against them is increasing rapidly. Dhirendra Shastri stayed in Pathankot for three days. During this time, the Christian community has also expressed objection to his statement. People of the Christian community in Gurdaspur, Punjab have expressed their displeasure over the statement of Bageshwar Dham head Dhirendra Shastri. 

People from the Christian community reached the SSP office of Gurdaspur in protest against his remarks. Here he demanded registration of a case against Dhirendra Shastri and also submitted his memorandum. He said that Dhirendra Shastri has also hurt the religious sentiments of the people of the Christian community. He warned that if they did not apologize to the Christian community soon, he would start protests against them and also burn their effigies at many places.

People of the Christian community have said that Dhirendra Shastri is giving statements against their religion as part of a well-planned conspiracy. He is trying to spoil the atmosphere of Punjab. The political people who are associated with the head of Bageshwar Dham are playing such tricks to get Hindu votes. It is noteworthy that Dhirendra Shastri was also comparing the Christian brotherhood with foreign powers in the ongoing program in Pathankot.
