Dhirubhai Ambani school received a bomb threat, FIR lodged

Mumbai: Dhirubhai Ambani School in Mumbai has lodged an FIR at the BKC police station after receiving a bomb threat. According to which, the caller identified himself as Vikram Singh. The criminal called the landline number of the school and claimed that he had planted a time bomb inside the school, after which, he cut the call. According to the information, the case is from the previous day i.e. Tuesday.   

According to Mumbai Police, the school landline received a call at 4.30 pm on Tuesday. The caller claimed to have planted a time bomb in the school. After that, the caller disconnected the call. Soon after, the school informed the local police. Immediately, a police team was sent to the school campus with a bomb detection and disposal squad. After the search, the premises were declared safe.  

Based on the school's complaint, a case was registered against the unidentified caller at the BKC police station under sections 505(1)(b) and 506 of the IPC. At the same time, the police have also started investigating the case. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police said they have traced the caller and the culprit will be arrested soon. In October last year, HN Reliance Foundation Hospital received a threat call in which an unidentified caller threatened to blow up the hospital and kill the Ambani family.
