Talk about Cannes red carpet fashion and the first thing that comes to mind are beautifully crafted gowns and stunning jewellery by major European design houses.
However, for her Cannes debut, Bollywood actress Diana Penty decided to go traditional. She opted for a white and gold satin saree by Indian designer Amit Aggarwal. What stood out in this look of hers was the belt on her waist and the thigh-high slit which gave the humble Indian saree a global appeal.
Diana Penty’s soft looks in this outfit are quite impressive. Even if it isn’t something trendy or some experimental look, the actress is looking stunning. She has been styled by Namita Alexander. The neckpiece and earrings by Aquamarine Jewellery are complimenting her attire beautifully. She has donned this look at Cannes for The FICCI Forum at The India Pavilion.
On the work front, Diana was last seen in 'Parmanu' and 'Happy Bhag Jayegi', where she played the character of a Punjabi girl, 'Happy'. She was cast opposite stars Abhay Deol and Jimmy Shergill. She took four years gap after her Bollywood debut film 'Cocktail', before returning to the silver screen with 'Happy Bhag Jayegi'. She was busy with her modelling career and was also doing endorsements and other shows as she didn't want to pressurize herself for acting.
