Jammu: Like every year, PM Narendra Modi will celebrate Deepawali with army soldiers. Under this, he has reached Jammu and left for Nowshera. Prime Minister Modi will celebrate Deepawali with army soldiers at Nowshera Sector in Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir. He will also visit Jammu and Kashmir or the border area of Ladakh.

In fact, India is celebrating Deepawali on Thursday, the biggest and most important holiday of the year. The festival of lights, which marks the victory of good over evil, is the most generous festival celebrated worldwide and by overseas Indians. States across the country have announced a number of guidelines on the day of the festival in view of the corona situation and air pollution.

The same Prime Minister Modi has reached Nowshera to celebrate Deepawali with the jawans. PM Modi will have tea and lunch with soldiers at brigade headquarters. He will be briefed on the preparedness of the armed forces and the PM is also expected to address the soldiers. Prime Minister Modi also celebrated the festival with jawans along the Line of Control in the Rajouri district in 2019. The PM's visit to Nowshera, Rajouri comes at a time when the Army's campaign against terror is going on in Poonch. The encounter in Poonch has been going on for the last 23 days.
